Nice clean new hotel. Nicely equipped gym. Everything is comfortable with minor exceptions. The smoke detector strobes at night (had to tape over the bright lights) and the AC/heat has no always-on mode for the fan. I've never seen a hotel without this feature. If you are a light sleeper you'll need to bring your own white noise source.

Well, I always hesitate to write a negative review and generally wait for a period of time to make sure I don’t write such from a vindictive perspective. So, I think it’s important to be objective and merely state the facts. This hotel is located in an easy to access location amongst several others just off Exit 38 of I-95 in Brunswick GA. Because of our traveling a long distance and I-95 being under major construction in northern North Carolina, we arrived late, around 10pm on Saturday. We were warmly greeted by the male front desk staff and provided our room keys and information. We took the elevator to our floor and walked into our assigned room. From all first appearances, the room was neat and clean, but when we went into the bathroom to shower, the real truth was presented. Yuck……the photos I’ve included reveal the mold, mildew and dirt in the bathroom and shower. Further, the bathroom fan generated a high pitched squealing noise that we could not remedy. Upon presenting photos and video of the issues, the front desk manager seemed quite unsympathetic and basically refused any compensation or remedy. So, I’m posting these photos and video so you will know what to expect if you choose to stay there. I will also communicate with IHG corporate to see if they approve. This hotel is permanently off our “stay there” list.

The location is convenient from I-95, and the staff is friendly. The lobby was pretty, decorated for Christmas. Unfortunately, both rooms I've stayed in have no insulation, so you can hear everything from your neighbors' rooms. There is no complimentary breakfast like at Holiday Inn Express but they do have a restaurant (that I didn't have time to try.)

Overall had a great night. Bed, room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. Quiet and safe area. No drama. No breakfast included🙁, but the rate was reasonable. I wish they would offer a bottle of water like they do at the Hamptons for being a silver member. The AC was a bit noisy, so had to turn it off. Luckily it's fall season. Onto my next holiday Inn at Rumfries.

Great hotel no complaints except the check in attendant. The room was reserved for us and the person that reserved the room specifically told us we could check in early as the front desk attendant told him there were plenty of rooms available so early check in would not be an issue. Once my husband and i arrived we were looked at like we didn’t belong then when we told the attendant we wanted to check in he said we couldnt check in til 3. We told him that the person that reserved the room told us we could check in early according to the info he got from the front desk. He then proceeded to check us in. Not a good first impression of the staff but the hotel was perfect. I noticed other guests checking in were treated warm and friendly. Maybe training the staff on diversity and inclusion would be an asset.
