I am an event coordinator for a non-profit and have had a great experience working Double Tree by Hilton staff. We’ve been working with Gretchen in Sales and Anthony with AV Concepts as well as Chef Brandon! They are an awesome team very transparent, welcoming, accommodating and VERY attentive to creating the perfect ambiance for our close to 400 guests. The perfect vibe for our event couldn’t be at any other venue but here! The food prepared for our taste testing was out of this world! You won’t be disappointed with this venue.

I didn’t think much when I booked - was just looking for a place to crash for one evening. I spend a lot of nights in hotels and the one thing that stood out was the service here. Everyone at the front desk and throughout was really professional and warm. They went out of the way to make me feel welcome. The room and overall feel was great as well. Finally, I thought the breakfast was well-stocked; was especially notable that they had a barista on hand. Would definitely come back.

We loved our stay here! Fresh warm cookies. It's probably one of the best hotel gyms I've been to, every type of equipment you could think of. Delicious breakfast with tons of options. Super friendly staff that were so helpful. Rooms were very clean, I even pulled the sheets up and examined the mattresses. Close to lots of activities and downtown Mesa. Definitely recommend staying here.

Not a good experience here. The first room we got smelled of smoke but the front desk claimed its a smokeless property. The second room we got switched to the drain popper was completely broken and drain stopper was stuck in both the tub and the sink. We asked to have it looked at by someone and the front desk said someone will come by. After about 1 hour we asked again and they said the service team can't come anymore. At this point it was 10:30 and we had an early morning so we didn't switch rooms again. Ended up just not showering. For the price this place is definitely not worth it. The whole place felt more like a motel where the walls were thin and everything was old and broken. Not sure why this is rated so high.

I was happy to pay more because of the customer service. We had a rough experience with a different, less expensive hotel (Holiday Inn) at first due to a pet policy they didn't have (though the reservation email said they had). Thankfully, Doubletree was nearby and could accommodate us as walk-ins week of Christmas. They fixed the broken lock on our door quickly, they offered a new room next day since I preferred a bath over shower (though we decided to keep the original room), and in general were kind and helpful. The room itself is clean, which honestly matters more to me than style of anything. Working tv (though occasionally the screen glitched out). They have a microwave in the lobby area, though not in the rooms, at least not ours or most it seems. The breakfast isn't free which honestly bummed me out, and we didn't pay to try it so can't speak on food quality or quantity. Price was reasonable for walk-in at Christmas time. Pet fee is on the high side though, especially when he doesn't make a mess. Brian and Charles both friendly and clear.
