Old and tired. Weird set up having to walk outside and around the pool to get to the rooms. Bed hard as a rock. HUGE room, tiny bathroom. So much wasted space in the room that could have been used to increase the size of the bathroom. Eat before you get to the hotel. Ordered from the grill & bar - waited 30 minutes to get cold, tasteless food.

I do not recommend this hotel. It does not live up to the Hilton standards. Staff were personable, they get the four stars. No heat in room 308 during a cold spell - they provided a space heater which was preferable to using the heating vents which were falling apart and dirty.. All furniture was stained with crud on everything. The toilet had remains of someone else in it. One of the privacy curtains was missing. This hotel needs a MAJOR renovation to bring it up to Hilton standards. What I liked - fluffy towels that looked new, the bed was comfortable for me as a back sleeper, a warm comforter, an assortment of pillows, a Keurig if you want to make your own coffee (when traveling I'm lazy and hope to get mine ready-made from the lobby: none in their lobby), plenty of hot water in the shower and a nice shower head, tub drained quickly which is sometimes an issue in older hotels. Bed area is large, bathroom small. I paid with HHONORS points (been a member for 35 years and expect better than this hotel). I was upgraded to a room with two patio doors. I was refunded one of two nights points by Corporate. I didn't complain to a manager; the only thing that person needs to do is get a better cleaning done. Corporate needs to shut down the hotel and start over. Or maybe I got the one room that needs attention like the common areas. I could go on, but I think you get the idea. I hate leaving negative reviews; I would rather re-live positive experiences. I'm not sure about the recent four and five star reviews - I guess we all have different expectations of Hilton.

We paid for a garden view room that had only a view of a rock wall that surrounded the pool. There was a sliding glass door to go out to the "garden" which was a concrete sidewalk. There was a table, but no chairs to sit in. Asked to be moved to a different room and was told it was a suite, but it wasn't. Simply a plain room with the smallest bathroom ever and dirty worn out furniture. The $9 continental breakfast had less options than a free breakfast at most other hotels. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and there was free parking...that's all i can say good about this hotel.
