Probably one of the best stays I have had in 2023 and 2024. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. From check in to check out it was lovely, the cookies on arrival were a super lovely little welcome gesture and the rooms themselves were absolutely gorgeous. Immaculate as expected from the Hilton brand and we couldn't fault anything. For sure my go to stay in Queenstown when I come back for the skii season. Thank you so much.

Amazing hotel with all the amenities of a top 5 star hotel. Looking a little dated inside but still very clean and fantastic customer experience. Located right on the lake with access to bike/ walking tracks but a 10min drive into Queenstown city centre

The main issue we had was that the hotel beds are singles. And when couple are staying then the beds are joined by zipping them together and mattress topper is applied. I can understand why they do that. But after a day the crease was noticeable. There's no free parking. There are few spots on the street that are free but majority of the guests have to pay extra for underground park at the hotel. Its 16 dollars per day. Complementary hot cookie at check in was good.

My stay at DoubleTree by Hilton was exceptional. The service was top-notch, starting with a warm welcome at reception where they graciously offered their famous cookies—a delightful touch. The rooms were not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, providing a relaxing retreat. While the gym wasn't extensively equipped, it had the basics for a quick workout. The overall experience reflected the quality and hospitality expected from Hilton. I highly recommend DoubleTree for a pleasant and welcoming stay, with those cookies serving as a sweet bonus to an already enjoyable visit.

Had a great stay! Was treated to a bottle of local wine during our honeymoon, status was noticed and an upgrade received. We managed to find on-street parking during our 3 nights and utilized the garage only the morning of pickup without issue. The buffet was packed and busy later in the mornings, but the options were good even when we stuck to the continental option one day. Only negative was not being given access to the pool/gym at the Hilton as Gold members: this felt a bit cheap. Also, we didn’t use the ferry but elected to drive and walk so we didn’t have a schedule to stick to: it doesn’t run late, so didn’t fit our needs. Would return to the property as the value was incredible. There is a lot for sale that will block the view of all rooms facing the lake if built upon, so keep an eye on that if you want a view.
