We booked a studio room last minute and we're upgraded to a 1 bed apartment upon check in. We were advised shortly after booking that there were some issues with aircon in some of the rooms but our room had no issue (possibly the cause of the upgrade). Parking was super easy and the room was large and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the planes take off at the airport as well. It is a bit out of central Queenstown but it was an easy drive and there was local buses of required. It suited us well to be out of the hustle and bustle, especially on a Saturday night. Perfect spot to finish our NZ holiday (and had plenty of space to repack for our flight!)

A quick 15 minute walk from the airport (if you can figure out how to get out of the airport grounds first 😉). Well appointed hotel with a handy & good cafe right there. Popular restaurants right out the door. Shopping center (Remarkables) just 5 minutes walk away. Public library right next door. Compact but well thought out room. Comfy bed. Clean. Friendly & knowledgable reception lady. Stayed 1 night for adventure layover.

Handy to the airport but it's nice and quiet, you don't hear the planes. Rooms have air con, washer and dryer, small kitchen with hot plate. Parking is included and easy to get to. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby.

Unfortunately my stay there was not good! I booked the room about 2 months before arriving, and once I got the room, I had the unfortunate pleasure of realizing that I received the WORST room in the hotel... Accessible room, on the lowest floor, view on the parking and building works... The reception is closing at 8 PM, and as I arrived late, I could not directly ask for a change... The next morning, I asked for it, but the hotel "was fully booked" so NOT possible! I could understand if I had booked the day before, but not when booked nearly 2 months in advance... And very bad service, as no gesture was made despite sharing this! DO NOT GO THERE! La Quinta hotel seems to be a much better option, with a stunning view!

They gave us a room with no ac or windows. They knew the ac was broken because maintenance was notified the day before but still gave it out. After unpacking all our belongings and using the dryer, the room was a sauna. There were no rooms left so they moved us to a sister hotel at the wyndham. Easily could have avoided this by keeping that room vacant until properly fixed.
