Du Parc Hotel Dalat

had a room at the end of the “tunnel” near the exit and motorcycle parking lot which got extremely noisy during daytime. It’s not about the vehicles or whatsoever but the hotel staff here are so noisy. They gathered around the corner and talked so loud to an intolerable point that hurted my head. Nobody even cared to close/lock the exit door then you can imagine how it feels when the wind shuts the door in a not so-very pleasant way. Management: if the room cannot be kept quiet, get rid of it or rearrange the rooms to give some privacy to the guests. Updated: Complained to the management and they did offer to make it right by offering to change the room, however my opinions wouldn’t change as it’s almost the end of my stay. Staff training needs to be worked on. I do respect the old structure of the hotel however the soundproof level can be a problem sometimes if you require a quiet place. That being said, I like the antique furniture/ structure and decor. Breakfast- wise is good, there wasn’t so many varieties but the food tasted good at least. The restaurant downstairs looks nice, decent atmosphere. No exhaust fan in the washroom, not sure if it’s only my room because there is a button which doesn’t work :) No air conditioning ( which is okay if you don’t stay in the room during daytime). Cleaning is not good, you will see stains in the washroom alongside the duvets. Location is good, a few minutes walk to restaurants, street food vendors and about 10 minutes walk to the night market.

Nice location, at center of city, near Cathedral Church. One of oldest hotel in Dalat (100ys). Beautiful front hall. Lovely old elevator. Room is small but everything is clean. Good breakfast. Reasonable price. Staff is professional, kind and friendly.
