This hotel is okay. The location is central but in a very loud and busy street that the taxi can’t get in at the evenings (they stop a walking distance from the hotel). We got a room in the inner side of the hotel so we didn’t hear the noise from outside but we did hear the noise from construction work every morning from 7:30. There’s a rooftop bar at the hotel, many people come there from the street, it makes problems because you have to wait ages for the elevator during the evenings and nights. The hotel is not the cleanest and the rooms are pretty small (we got a room with an extra bed and it made it really uncomfortable to move inside the room, open the door, and there wasn’t much space to put our luggage. ) Because of the lack of space, my bag ripped when I tried to get out with all the luggage and hit the sharpe door. The breakfast is good, the staff are nice. They have laundry service 50k Vnd/1 kg. It is an affordable option in Ho Chi Minh City and not too bad, it’s okay for a short period stay.

Great stay in the standard room option. The hotel was centrally located in district 1 which was a walk away to all of the attractions. The staff were accommodating and helpful, there was complimentary tea and bananas every day. Breakfast was really good with fresh omelettes made for you as well different items to choose from each day. It did get loud at night as the hotel was on a street that turned into a rowdy street with loads of bars and the lift made a really annoying noise whenever anyone used it so I would advise bringing earplugs to be safe.

I spent almost 2 weeks across Vietnam but this hotel experience has been the worst. I booked a VIP room for 2 nights. The room was spacious but it had a weird smell. It is an old run down facility with bugs crawling on the tables, intercom not working, no exhaust in the washroom, faulty shower and leaking bidet. When we informed the staff, instead of moving us to the similar room, they downgraded us in a smaller room while charging the same amount. The only plus side to the hotel is the location as it is right in the middle of walking street. Another thing I found a bit odd is hotel has a rooftop bar which is open to general public and have common lift with those staying at the hotel which provides them access to all hotel floors and rooms. Also be prepared to stay up late as the music plays till 4am on the street and at the rooftop bar and the windows are not very well insulated. Won't recommend especially to people travelling with family.

This is a well located property if you want to be in a party area full of restaraunts and nightlife places and bars. However, it is still a quiet,relaxing, well run, friendly hotel with an exceptional and professional staff. They have a beautiful rooftop area for sunsets, drinks, and food. They serve a nice breakfast every morning and it is a pleasant way to start your day! The overall feel of the hotel feels like it is family run with love for their guests! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from someone who spends over 200 nights in hotels a year and currently lives in a apart-hotel in Mui Ne, Vietnam.

My stay in Duc Vuong is really good! Although its a 2 star hotel, their service is 5 stars!! The receptionist and workers here are super friendly and helpful! The area of the hotel is near to all the tourist area so i can literally walk everywhere! I gave a four star for the room as the toilet has a sewage smell which i dont like it. But the room is really clean and comfy!
