Eco Tree Hotel Causeway Bay

The hotel was clean and conveniently located. Hotel room: the room size was adequate, it's not the biggest but good enough if you're spending most of the day exploring. The bathroom isn't the biggest compared to some other hotels but this is given in Hong Kong. Toiletries including toothbrush and toothpaste are provided and restocked daily. There are Dyson hairdryers too which is a bonus. Iron and ironing board are provided upon request. The room includes a safe, fridge, kettle and teabags. Complementary water is also provided daily. There is also a wardrobe with non-removable hangers. Other aspects of the hotel: there are some seating available in the hotel lobby but it isn't particularly large. You can also leave your luggage at the lobby on the day of check out. I did some online shopping and had a delivery made to the hotel. Reception advised this was fine as long as the room number was included. The only complaint is that the corridors aren't air conditioned and are incredibly warm, which isn't very pleasant when waiting for the lift if you're on a higher floor. There is also apparently a gym but I didn't get a chance to use this. Public transport: between Tin Hau and Fortress Hill MTR stop, about 5 minute walk to each). It's also really convenient to get the tram or bus. Grocery: there is a Wellcome (grocery store) across the road or a larger Wellcome by Fortress Hill Station which is a 5 minute walk away. There are plenty of convenient shops such as 7 Elevens nearby. There are also fruit stalls and a market nearby. Eatery: there are plenty of restaurants of a variety of cuisines near the hotel. There are a couple of bakeries and a coffee shop round the corner downstairs. Shops: there aren't many shops but it is a 12 minute walk or one MTR stop away from Causeway Bay which has an abundance of shops. It's also only a 25-35 MTR/bus journey to Mong Kok. Laundry: there's a laundrette opposite which is really reasonably priced (from $40 HKD for wash and dry) and the service is quick. You can pick up on the same or next day depending what time you drop the clothes off. There are also some self service launderettes nearby. Flow and Roll is the closest one which is only one street over, about a 2 minute walk. Overall, this is a really clean and decent sized hotel. It's in a convenient location and there are many amenities/shops/restaurants nearby. Public transport options are great too (MTR/tram/bus and walking distance to Causeway Bay).

We stayed here for 8 nights and it’s a great hotel. It was located close to all major forms of transit and lots of restaurants as well. Our room had lots of hooks to hang items and lots of hangers as well. There was a mini fridge and safe as well. The bathroom was modern with lots of nice fixtures. A couple of blocks away, there was a 24hr self serve laundry service that accepted Octopus Card. We stayed when HK was getting quite warm and humid so the AC was a blessing. There was a switch inside where you can notify housecleaning by a green illuminated “icon” outside the front door if you needed them to clean the room for the day. Hi tech! When we had to check out by 11:00am, it was too early for our flight out so they would look after our luggage at the front while we killed a few hours. A truly great stay. Highly recommended!
