My wife and I toured Japan for two weeks and stayed in four hotels and Eisei Stay was the third and only service apartment that we chose. The room was really clean and the management staff and cleaners were polite. Room cleaning was restricted to once every two days of stay. This service apartment uses the keyless type of entry. Just press a few numbers at the door and you'll be able to enter the lift and your room. The building and rooms seemed really new, and it was as if we were their first customers. We were given a room facing the back, and there was morning sun, which we used to dry a few of our clothes using their drying rack on the small balcony. The apartment itself is only a short 5 minutes walk to Ikebukuro's West (N) exit (yes, it's really confusing at first!), and there's a number of convenience stores and Korean BBQ restaurants nearby. Surprisingly, there's no clothes dryer in the apartment, so I had to bring my washed clothes everyday to Peace Coin Laundry. Just 200yen is enough to dry quite a lot of clothes. I recommend Rico's convenience store more than the rest, as it's more like a mini market, with fresh fruits, vegetables and meat, in addition to the usual items you can find in a convenience store. Sugi pharmacy also has lots of items and opens till 11pm. It's like a pharmacy, beauty and convenience store all in one. Do consider this if you're looking for a modern, and clean apartment for your stay.

Extremely spacious, especially for the cheap price point. Location was good as well, a short walk to Ikebukuro station and many convenience stores as well as food options in the vicinity. Check-in process was fast and smooth using the tablet at the first floor. Left my speaker there during my stay and the staff were kind enough mail it to my brother when he was in Tokyo a few weeks later. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again if I am coming back to Tokyo!

This is very good value for the price point. It had 3 beds. Ikebukuro is a very good subway hub with a lot of great restaurants close. The staff was very helpful for our checkout. The bathroom ended up being much better than some 4 star hotels we stayed in later on
