I gave this hotel 3 stars because: - Location is not good. It is surrounded by homeless shelters or abandoned properties so you cant walk around the hotel. - Front desk uses part time worker who doesn’t have a clue about the hotel. For example, I asked her where the laundry is, she told me it was on level 4. Wrong, it is on level 2. I asked for coins to use on the washing machine and she told me they didn’t have any. I asked her if there is a manager or anyone else that can help, she said no. Great service - hotel decor feels dated, so does the room. Anyway, to Hilton BOD and CEO, I can understand the need to cut cost and make money for shareholders but not at the expense of bad customer experience. I had a great time recently at another Hilton property so I decided to try your chain again in Vegas. Needless to say, i will think long and hard before i decide to stay on another Hilton properties again. And btw, we stay about 30-35 nights per year at hotels. That is revenue loss that you do not get. And I am a Hilton Gold member.

The room was one of the nicer ES I've stayed at except for the pillows. Very cheap. Ikea has better pillows. Property is close to the airport, close enough to the strip. Included breakfast served only until 9am and social hour is a joke with very bottom of the barrel drinks and a 2 drink minimum. Snacks were cubed cheese and potato chips. That's all. That suggests that we are only serving it because it's company policy. It doesn't make me feel welcome. The morning grill cooks were great and there was plenty of options. The property is adjacent to a homeless camp which is somewhat unsettling but I didn't experience any issues because of it. The Virgin hotel is walkable, right across the street but one would have to walk through the homeless camp which I wouldn't recommend. I would stay there again but would look for other options first.

Nice updated Embassy Suites. Only 4 stars because breakfast line was insane and just a mad house in general. If staying I suggest getting up and eating right as it opens or bring to room to save for later. Food runs out about an hour before closing time. Also rooms are dark /not enough lighting but that is usually the same in all ES. Free parking is not offered on site but walking distance there is free parking garage (Paradise Parking) behind Virgin. Happy hour is great with the best bartender Mel!
