Beautiful room in a traditional style building in the heart of the city. Very close to everything. The staff were lovely and made us feel right at home with a glass of wine on arrival. The room was beautiful, grand and wonderfully decorated. The balcony had an amazing view of the Acropolis and the city, it was breathtaking. The beds were very comfortable and the whole room felt very spacious due to the high ceilings. You could hear the music outside until very late at night, so perhaps pack ear plugs.

Stayed here on the first leg of my honeymoon and we enjoyed it. Conveniently located a few blocks from the metro, next to many great restaurants, and about 15 minutes walking from the main attractions. The staff was very kind and friendly; they even offered us complimentary wine one evening. We stayed in room 103 after being shown a few other options (every room was different) and we were very happy with our choice. AC was nice and cold, and I was a big fan of the shower. Perhaps the only con was that the wifi signal wasn't the best.

Stayed here last week with my friends, the rooms were beautiful and spacious. The staff is so kind & attentive. We loved the complimentary goodies available to us. The hotel is in the perfect location as well, definitely recommend!

This hotel is wonderful. I looked for months to try to find a good hotel, in a good location to walk everywhere, that was reasonably priced. I finally decided on Emporikon Athens Hotel and I am so happy that I did. We walked to all of the attractions and sites. There is so much to see and do around the hotel. Many many bars, restaurants, shops, etc… Easy walk to Plaka and the Acropolis. The rooms are so full of vintage character and charm, but also immaculately clean and comfortable. We had a king-sized bed and I wish I could take it home with me— so comfortable. The hotel is above a lively square with lots of lovely patios and restaurants. There is music and it is a very friendly and fun atmosphere. We don’t stay out too late, so I was worried about the noise. However, the windows must be magic or something, because the second you close them it is silent. I had to open and close them a couple times just because I was amazed they were so sound-proof. I attached a video as proof! It is a very lovely place. The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond to take care of our needs, from early check-in to extra coffee in the room for us. I will absolutely stay here again when in Athens. Really made the first stop on our vacation extra-special.
