I recently had a fantastic stay here. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the rooms were cozy and clean. What really stood out was the convenience of the location, especially since my sister was at Christiana Care for her treatment. It was a relief to be close by, and the hotel staff was very understanding and supportive during this time. Highly recommend for anyone needing a comfortable place to stay!

First, the front office staff at this hotel was amazing, from the front desk attendees to the general manager. They were all very accommodating and friendly. That's all that was good about this hotel. We were in town on a work trip and had reserved 4 rooms. 3 of the 4 rooms were dirty upon arrival. There was urine on my toilet seat upon check in, another room had debris all over the floor, dead flies and a large amount of some type of gooey substance in the bathroom sink. When changing rooms, he was given the key to an already occupied room at 2:30 in the morning. He was trying to enter an occupied room, he's lucky he didn't get injured or shot. I feel terrible for the sleeping guest. The heater in my room made a loud whistling sound every time it turned on/off keeping me up all night. The shower and sink water was lukewarm at best. I requested a coffee pot and coffee mug, both were filthy and the coffee pot leaked water from the bottom. I had no hand towels all week and was given 4 wash clothes to use as hand towels. There is no maid service at all. I saw a maid once over 4 days. when I first checked in, I told them my toilet was dirty, they gave me a rag and spray to clean it myself. The hotel smells of marijuana all day and night, the halls are dimly lit and I even came in one evening to police lights in front of the hotel...I'm not sure why they were there. In short, do not book this hotel. I don't know where these 5 star reviews are coming from, but this place is not sanitary. I have 2 stars ONLY because the front end staff was so nice. Don't do it even if tempted by the price.

You get what you pay for, it’s an inexpensive hotel in a great location. Nothing spectacular, good for a night or two stay. The hotel rooms are decently clean with fairly comfortable beds, good internet and small kitchen in the room convenient for quick snacks and meals. The items that are not good are the hallways are dark with a slight smell of smoke. The dark hallways makes it look a little creepy. The hotel should definitely put better lighting in the hallways.

Entire staff went above and beyond to meet all of my needs.They all deserve raises! It’s too much to put into words but what I can say is that I have NO complaints! If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Newark area come to the extended stay! Kitchen in the room with a sink, pots/pans, dishes and silverware as AMENITIES and no extra charge what more could you ask for!!!it’s like an apartment away from home at an affordable price. From the bottom of my heart thank you guys!! Westin and double tree has nothing on you guys!!!😂

I booked a room since we are having our place renovated. The first room I was given was very dirty, sheets not changed, candle wax on walls etc. The second room had an infestation of bed bugs. I lifted the mattress and saw at least 80 bed bugs. The third room was better but refrigerator is very very loud, toilet backs up, and so does sink. Other dat woken up at 6am with fire alarm since maintenance wasn't performed and elevator didn't work when I have 2 slipped discs in my back. Place is also not clean. The elevators are dirty, hallways, a bunch of different types of people on the low end live here and constant police here. Do better!
