Nice, quiet hostel away from the hustle and bustle. This also means the hostel is far from everything, and you need to cross a small mountain to use the metro. But they have buses on the hostel side of the mountain that run pretty reliably. This also means I would recommend buying with breakfast included. I loved their inner courtyard with the hammocks in the evening when temperatures were lower. Air conditioning in the room was good, but not quite strong enough to keep temperatures low near the ceiling in the upper bunk beds. Shower and toilet facilities need some work. There was a single shower for multiple floors of rooms. The lights turned off after 30 seconds of using the bathroom (sensor light only).

Very welcoming. Quite clean. Loved the chill area and the overall vibe. Good breakfast. Served even super early - 5am. One thing is that breakfast is right at the reception which is also in front of the kitchen door so it can get crowded in the morning. People were generally very respectful as there was no noise after 10.30pm. Room were nice. Honestly best bedding I’ve had in a hostel. AC should be a bit stronger at night. With 6 ppl sleeping even in October it was too hot. The area itself doesn’t have much touristic stuff to see beside Guell. But if you don’t mind walking it won’t be a problem. Everything from Sagrada, boqueria, cathedral, la Rambla is less than an hour walk. But if you need to, there are buses/metro really close by. They should maybe have one or 2 extra showers on a separate floor as some ppl need 30 min in the shower and at 6 you might end up waiting an hour. Or plan ahead and wake up at 6. Loved the little attention - free candies, earplugs, chocolates

The service from all the staffing was excellent, even though I was in a mixed room, always was clean and comfortable, the size of the bed for me was perfect and the lockers also. I never stay in a hostel, and the only thing I can say is that I will gonna stay again in Factory Hostel Barcelona.
