I arrived a bit early to check in, and the room wasn't ready. I had to present via Teams to a large group, and instead of setting up in their business centre area, the front desk staff invited me to use their boardroom for my presentation. It was so generous and kind of them, I could have cried! The rooms are immaculate - tidy and clean. The pool and hot tub are great as well. And the breakfast is exceptional. The staff are so nice. I'll always recommend this Marriott - they really do go above and beyond.

I must say, this hotel truly leaves a remarkable impression. Its tasteful and contemporary approach to the interior design is simply commendable. The spacious room, coupled with the delightful amenities such as the pool and hot tub, truly add to the overall experience. Moreover, the breakfast provided is undoubtedly a significant advantage, and the hotel's central location is certainly convenient. The customer service provided is pleasant, and the check-in and check-out processes are effortlessly smooth.

Rooms are larger than average and quite comfy. Building appears very well maintaned and clean. Staff were polite. Location, just off the highway and about 10 minutes from downtown. There are a bunch of hotels up on Rogers Way so popular place for conferences or sports teams. It just close enough that it's not "out of the way" ... If you are looking for more of a city experience when visiting Kamloops then I would suggest a hotel downtown.

The rooms are big, the staff is friendly and courteous, and those are about the only positive things I can say about this hotel. Most Marriotts I stay at have water bottles in the room. Not this one, but ok. What's much worse is the beds aren't comfortable at all. They feel like cheap mattresses that were bought second hand from a thrift store. I saw several people comment regarding how good the breakfast was. Definitely not our experience. We went down at 8:30 because breakfast ends at 9. Not only was everything filthy, but there was virtually nothing left. We waited until 9 hoping that they would bring out more food, but nope. The waffle machines technically worked, but they were so dirty and had so much crud on them I didn't bother. The icing on the cake was a jar sitting there asking for tips. For nonexistent food and lack of any sort of cleaning. And while there were 2 TVs in the room, I laughed when I turned them on. There's no option to stream, and no option to cast. Instead, there's just basic cable. Remember back in 1990 when you had to watch the menu scroll slowly past you to find out what to watch? That's what you get here. I haven't seen that in a hotel in years. I honestly only picked this hotel because I'm a Marriott gold member, and most of my Marriott stays have been great. Not this one. I'll just stay at another hotel next time. This one really isn't great, or even good, especially for the price. They somehow feel they're worth more than most of the other hotels in the area. Oh well, lesson learned.
