Spent 4 nights there on vacation. The best part was the free shuttle to & from the airport. Rooms are small & simple, but clean & served their purpose since we did not really plan on spending too much time in the hotel. Decent location, a city bus stop right in front of the hotel that took us to south Philly where we were able to catch the Subway to site see. Cafe in Four Points had weird hours only open 5p-10p, but a Sheraton Suites was directly next door with a cafe open all day until midnight so we got most of our dinners there & it was fabulous. All in all a great hotel.

Had a great stay here. Yes it’s true, some of the features in the rooms seem a bit dated. The tile-wall showers, the faucet for the sink, the TV remote, but didn’t bother me in the least. Everything was clean as could be. Beds were extremely comfortable, shower was hot, coffee was complimentary. Front desk staff both day and night were super kind and helpful when I forgot some toiletries. Will certainly be returning here anytime I’m in Philly. (And I appreciated the aviation decor as I’m a pilot)

Usually stay at the Marriott at the airport when we have early morning flights for work. Tried this hotel this time due to the significantly lower rate. Upon walking in, there was immediately a cloud of weed. The gentleman talking to the front desk clerk (either a friend or coworker) had just exhaled the puff. It took her almost 25 minutes to check us in. The lobby looked very nice and updated. Some of us were on the 4th floor where there was an intense vomit smell as well as smoke smell. Some of us were on the 5th floor and there was such a strong smell of cigarette smoke that even the bedding smelled like smoke. The bathroom was dirty and there was no heat or blankets. I am very disappointed as this was a Marriott hotel. We will not be returning

I had a series of excellent interactions at this hotel, above and beyond my normal stays. This was due entirely to the staff. I stayed two nights earlier this week and had to return before a flight home. During my first stay I had a series of pleasant interactions with Russell, a maintenance/ bellman. I also was amazed with the grace of Derrick at the front desk. He was pleasant and helpful my fist visit. But what really amazed me was the way he handled a line of a dozen frustrated American Airlines passengers. Their flight was cancelled and, although the rooms were all sold out, Derrick gracefully handled every single person in turn. And, even though they were having a difficult time and Derrick broke bad news to them, the left far less frustrated than them came. And he was able to help them find rooms at sister hotels. You aren't paying these gentlemen enough, they are excellent assets to this hotel. The bartender was also very nice.

1st off we only went to this hotel because our soccer team was playing 35 miles away and our team manager had a block of rooms for all to stay. Reviews looked bad, but we went for the team. When we got to the hotel on a Saturday night the entire lobby was crowded with drunk people right in the front to check in with kids. Not great place for the bar. The front desk people, such as Charles and the other guy were very nice, but understaffed. The rooms. Outdated. You can hear the next rooms conversation from the bathroom dusty/dirty vent. The toilet made a LOUD noise when you flushed it. Bathroom very small, also bugs in the light fixture above that my child said was creepy. The sink did not drain after brushing teeth very well. Took 10-15 minutes. The AC unit made noise all night. I thought it was the airport, but it was a old/loud sounding AC unit. The rooms are just dated. $250 plus taxes equaled $300 of unpleasant night. The front desk was overwhelmed with check ins. No answered the phone to talk to. My husband told the lady when checking out the next morning and she said you need to call that night to complain in order to get any discount for the many issues. Well front desk was too busy with soccer club check ins and everyone else to answer. We needed to go to sleep and be up early to get to the soccer games, so we did the best we could. With a loud AC unit all night. It is a very dated hotel and needs updates. I would not stay at this hotel again in Philadelphia.
