We rented out a 3 bedroom and it was enough space. We had 8 people in ours (4 kids and 4 adults). Our place and a personal spa, which I went in nightly. Food and drinks at the poolside bar and at 4pm they opened the inside restaurant. All food was reasonable priced and very tasty. Trees and nature all around. We had a baby deer show up with her mama while sitting on our patio drinking coffee. We would recommend this location.

We were very disappointed. When we arrived, we arrived to unclean carpets. The carpets had hairballs, damage and stains. We were repulsed and walked around the house with our shoes on the whole weekend. If this company charges for a cleaning fee they need to make sure that the units are cleaned properly before each visitor. Maintenance did however, respond to the temperature request. The linens and towels were very clean. The dishwasher was filled with mold and did not work. The downstairs bathroom toilet would not flush. These inconveniences put a damper on our stay.

Complete bait-and-switch resort. We showed up to check-in with a printed confirmation. At the desk, we were charged an ADDITIONAL $124 upfront for cleaning and fees that were supposedly already included when we paid for our booking. We showed them our printed confirm of total balance owed at $81(daily resort fee) due at checkout. They told us we had to pay the additional amount upfront or they would cancel our reservation. As it was 9pm and we had a toddler and a baby with us, we had to just pay it and didn’t have time to argue. Once we got to our room and got the kids in bed, we also found the hot tub to be 80% EMPTY. Buyer beware, this place is nothing like what they show online.

It's challenging to criticize or review hotels when the staff is kind and respectful. However, as a hotel, I don't understand how they can advertise rooms on websites and booking platforms that show modern and spacious rooms. The reality is different; the rooms are not as depicted in the photos. The townhouse was very dirty, with lots of dust and a strong unpleasant odor. They need to step up their maintenance game and make guests feel at home. They need to take action to ensure guests return. You must to change your kitchen tools, most of them are broken and very dirty.

This is my 5th time staying at Regal Oaks. In the past I always spoke highly of this resort as it’s affordable but also clean, excellent food, and great service. This will be our last time staying at Regal Oaks. Being next to Old town is the best, but the place has really gone down hill. The best service was our bartender near the poolside bar which isn’t open long, she was great though really down to earth and had great recommendations. Our private hot tub area screens were all damaged so we got eating by bugs every night. The showers are cold and leak everywhere. The new digital room key is a mess and didn’t work most the time. The inside bar food is awful and overpriced. We were the only group of 4 in the bar ordered wings and drinks plus a desert and were there for hours waiting on food that wasn’t good. It’s sad we will be changing our choice of stay. Price is good but you can do better.
