The property is quite dated, with electrical wiring appearing poorly done. This wouldn't be the ideal choice for families with young children due to safety concerns. Hygiene was also an issue, with dust behind the bed and uneven, moldy floor tiles. While the bed was surprisingly comfortable, other amenities fell short. The Wi-Fi in the room was unusable, and the bathroom had mold on the mirror frame and barely a trickle of water pressure at the sink. The breakfast selection was very limited, primarily featuring vegan and chicken options, with drinks limited to water, milk, orange juice, hot coffee, and tea. Even the bread section lacked real butter, offering only a margarine substitute. Despite the attentive staff who kept the breakfast area clean and cleared plates promptly, the overall experience wasn't worth the 1,100 THB price tag. There are definitely better options available at this price point.

My stay at the Golden Tulip Essential Pattaya was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The problems began right at check-in, where I encountered a front desk staff that was not only unhelpful but downright rude. They seemed disinterested in providing any assistance and brushed off my concerns without a second thought. The issues only continued from there. When I arrived at my room, it was immediately evident that the hotel had no interest in maintaining even the most basic standards of cleanliness and comfort. The bathroom was a disaster, with moldy tiles and a lingering stench that made it nearly impossible to use. I couldn't even find a clean towel to use. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit in the room was malfunctioning, and despite multiple complaints to the unresponsive staff, it was never repaired. I spent restless nights in the stifling heat, unable to get any relief from the oppressive temperatures. As if the room conditions weren't bad enough, the breakfast experience was truly appalling. The dining area was a mess, with tables left dirty and a complete lack of hygiene. The food was inedible, and the limited selection was a far cry from the promised "breakfast buffet." To add insult to injury, they didn't even provide cutlery for the room, making it impossible to eat any takeout food I brought in. But perhaps the most infuriating part of this ordeal was the staff's attitude. They were not only unhelpful but openly dismissive of guests' concerns. It was as if they couldn't care less about providing even a basic level of service or courtesy. In summary, my stay at the Golden Tulip Essential Pattaya was a disaster in every sense of the word. From rude and unhelpful staff to abysmal room conditions, lack of basic amenities, and an atrocious breakfast experience, it was a stay that I would never wish upon anyone. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you value your comfort and sanity. I couldn't agree more with your sentiment. The Golden Tulip Essential Pattaya seems to lack even the most basic amenities and services that one would expect from a hotel. From the absence of toiletries to shoddy towels and a complete disregard for guest comfort and cleanliness, it's clear that this is not a place where anyone should consider staying. Got this place booked through MMT at a very reasonable price. Bar, gym and pool 🏊 facility is there. Perfect hygiene. You can get the Airport buses from nearby bust stand which is around 3.5 KM. Prefer the TUK TUK public transport to reach Pattaya beach and walking street.
