Our first stay at Cancun Mexico. The experience was great, the hotel staff made you feel at ease and never gave you an impression that they are purely doing it as a duty. One does feel a missing kinda when you are at the end of your say and wish to stay longer. Most of the facilities here are free and do not need you to pay out of pocket. Only some facilities are restricted to members. Other than that take care of a fre things or guidelines that are told to you and keep all major stuff in locker in your rooms. You can choose to have staff clean them if needed or can keep the do not disturb sign for the entire duration of your stay. Overall a great time. Only for trips outside of the resort and some staff members have difficulty communicating in English but that is covered by their helping attitude.

We have been coming to this hotel for 6 years. I proposed to my wife here in 2018. This is our 7th visit but sadly this will be our last. First, when you reserve an oceanfront room know that it is not. It is ocean view! I was told they now save the ocean front rooms for associates. I asked why I was allowed to reserve and pay for an oceanfront room if they were going to put us in a “pool front room with ocean views.” My reservation clearly says “oceanfront”. According to the front desk, when you reserve a 40% off oceanfront room you are getting the standard ocean view room at the regular ocean view rate, $374 per night. So I guess the deal really is not a deal. Second, the pillows feel like they put a bunch of rocks in a pillow sack. We just waited an HOUR for someone to bring a softer pillow. No joke the person brought a pillow that is a foam block, harder than what we have. We still have 3 more nights I think I will be buying a pillow tomorrow! There have been other issues but these are 2 that are just thorns in my side. Oh and the app is not user friendly, it constantly logs you out and you can only reserve one restaurant at a time. So until you eat at that restaurant you can not reserve another night. As always the staff in the restaurants are great and super friendly. The people that run the activities around the pool are great as well. But front desk and back of the house people really don’t seem to care.

The service and hospitality is very good. Other than that I feel like I’m going into the past. Everything is very out dated. The food is vile, and tastes like cardboard. The aroma every where you go smells like some type of old seafood. There are 100’s of kids around here, and they don’t offer any type of adult escape. We went to the “adult only” section and there were children every where. Complete false advertising from what they offer online. I can’t stress this enough the food is not appetizing. If you like the beach I would recommend just staying on that then walking around the resort. If you want a CHEAP get away then go here. If not spend the extra money and go somewhere nicer. Edit in response to their comment back to me: this is a generic response that GS Solaris has written back to everyone who is unhappy. The right thing to do would be to offer some sort of future discount or free service to accommodate for their false advertising.

Definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Noticed a few challenges for the staff but they pulled it together and got it done. Professionalism and courtesy is always great. I was amazed at how good the food was and different delicious varieties. The night entertainment makes it feel as if you paid a lot more out of pocket, 💯💯💯. The beach location was free from sea weed and that allowed us to enjoy it. Don't want to get up off your seat or pool bed, just tip the waiters and they'll keep your drinks coming. 100% recommend this hotel for everything they offer.

Literally one of the best trips I have ever gone on! My husband and I came here 4 years ago and just came back and we cannot say enough good things. We got here and got checked in quickly, very nice staff and so pleasant. We loved doing water aerobics with Whiskey & Leo all week! Just an all around good time! The breakfast buffet is where it is at for food on the am! Cannot wait to come back next year!
