The hotel is directly in the middle of all the nightlife and restaurants next to the sea side. Rooms were elegant, neat and fully furnished. The value for money is also a factor to consider. For sure, in the future this would be my first choice to stay.

The worst experience in my life and still they did not return our money. Pictures explain it all. No hot water and broken shower head. Mold all over the room. Sauna in the room does not work. Every time you add water the breaker goes off. Unbelievably dirty & disgusting. Staff's attitude is not acceptable. We booked 2 rooms one for us and the other for the kids. The problems were in our room, so when I complained they said they will change the room. We came back at night they ended up changing the decent room instead of the room we complained about and rented it out to other clients. We stayed there 2 nights and skipped the third. Both nights we took showers in the kids room. Do not even think about this place. It is a mess.

The hotel is decent, but definitely should not be advertised as a 5-star hotel. We had a multitude of issues that led us to leaving within the first night and we booked a room at the Marriott about 5 minutes away. Pros: - In a busy area, walking distance to a variety of restaurants, bars, and shopping areas. - Friendly staff - Spacious room Cons: - No elevator (only stairs) - Located right above a restaurant, so the smells/smoke overpowered the air in the hotel. - Con of being in a busy area is that it gets really loud, so it may be hard to sleep. - Bathroom was dirty, molded, and the shower had no door so the water kept spilling out everywhere - AC was leaking some kind of blue fluid on the wall behind our bed and kept making dripping noises all night. Overall, if you're looking to stay at a 3-star hotel, this is the place for you. If you're looking for 4-star or above, this is not it. Go to the Marriott a few minutes away and you'll get amazing service, spacious & clean room, indoor & outdoor pool, gym, sauna, etc. and still be in the middle of all the action.

- Big and comfortable bed, and spacious rooms. However, the room did have a few minor details that had to be completed for it to be considered a “finished” room (aka missing piece of baseboard and paint job) ; - Very friendly and helpful staff. We had enlightening conversations with Nil. She taught us useful Turkish expressions, gave us a ton of tips and introduced us to an area nearby with wonderful restaurants. We discovered the pancake place Pan-Ku, which is a must ;-) - The area can get a bit noisy seeing as our room’s window was facing the busy street. The advantage was that you can have a drink + dinner everywhere at walking distance. And Alsancak is really a wonderful area. Thanks for the wonderful stay, we absolutely fell in love with Izmir!
