Book somewhere else!!!!!!. 4 hot tubs and none of them were hot, neither do the jets work. The adult pool was filled with kids. The room smells like mildew and mold. The shower/bathroom is covered in mold. Couldn't stop sneezing after showering every time. The faucet to the shower is falling off the wall. The faucet to the sink had beard hairs all over it. Lots of hidden fees here. Complained to front desk about 6 different times how dirty our room was when we checked in the first day. Till the last day they never came back and cleaned up the beard hairs. The lock on the door was loose and falling off. The gift shop is never open even tho they say it opens at 9am. It doesn't. ( was hoping to buy sunscreen there) the management does not care about your complaints. The management doesn't seem to care about anything actually.

Excellent hotel. Love that the beach towels and beach chairs are included. It’s usually an up charge at these hotels. The breakfast was excellent. My only complaint was the dinner at the on site restaurant was high quality but nothing was cooked quite right. Other than that this place is a keeper!

Wanted this to be a great experience, but there are some downfalls. Came here for a conference so didn't have a choice of hotel/location. Our room was nice, clean and everything was working. There is only one restaurant on-site, and it's a long walk to another place (or pay to get somewhere). A few weeks after I checked out, I received over $100 of additional charges from Grand Beach on my credit card. Called to ask about it and it was extra resort fees that the conference did not cover. I'm fine with that, but I don't know why that wasn't on my final bill at checkout. I was also charged for in-room snacks, which I didn't touch, so I had to get that charge removed. I was given a contact name and number, and he wouldn't respond to my calls or emails. When I would call, I would just get routed to him, so never got to ask about the extra charges or given an explanation. If you stay, make sure you check your credit card statement, even weeks after your stay, to make sure they don't slip extra charges on there. Due to lack of communication and extra charges that shouldn't have been on there in the first place, I would not recommend this place or stay again. UPDATE: It's been 2 weeks and no one from Grand Beach has contacted me. I talked to the company that held the conference and they said other attendees have reached out to them about the same issues I'm having. They also mentioned the hotel's lack of professionalism throughout the process.
