Bad experience; 1- I went to check in with a confirmed email of paid room booking for five nights, first they denied the reservation then they asked me to go and sleep the first night in another hotel then come back the following day to check!!! I told them I paid for 5 nights. Then finally they gave me a room. 2- spots and stains on the bed linens. 3- heat radiator not working,the room is very cold. 4- air conditioner not working too. 5- no wall sound isolation, you hear neighbors talking all night. 6- torn curtain.

Visited Istanbul for three weeks and we were advised prior to not stay at one hotel the whole time, Grand FM was the last hotel out of three we stayed at and it was truly the best, the staff were so friendly, attentive and kind, the rooms and the toilet were very clean. Compared to the other hotels the Wifi was very quick! Most importantly the location of the hotel (given what you pay for) was the cherry on top, it’s in the heart of all the food places ie mcdonalds and even some retail shops are down the road, the T1 tram (that goes to most tourist attractions) was a few minutes away and the whole vibe was just cosy. I am usually apprehensive and anxious with budget hotels but really grateful for the good experience!

it is a good place to stay, close to the shops, breakfast availablethe only thing that I concerned about is the window sealing is not perfect to a degree that you can hear the cars when passing by and the people when they talk loudly, other than that it is good.
