Beautiful hotel the food was right up there with some of the five star hotels we have stayed in. The Up experience for those who have not tried it is a wonderful rooftop area with sunbeds a plenty and various infinity pools. All your drinks tea coffee and tapas and sweets throughout the day although this comes at an extra cost its well worth it. Go on treat yourself you wont regret it. Also a big shout to the staff who go above and beyond.

Very nice experience and super start of the year in Arona Gran. Super buffet - high quality and diverse. Rooms are clean and quiet. No kids though and the average age in the hotel is rather high. Makes for a calm environment. Pools not crowded. Views from the terrace spectacular. The end of year gala dinner was of amazing quality and the show very good. We enjoyed it a lot.

Lovely hotel. Staff are very helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Pools are not too busy and you can always get a sunbed. If you place your towel on a sunbed before 10am and don't remain with it, it will be removed. Food is excellent with something to suit everyone. The entertainment was rather disappointing for such an otherwise great hotel. Area around hotel is a bit rundown.

The Arona Gran is a superb hotel staffed by some of the friendliest, most professional people I have had the good fortune to come across. The only reason that this isn't a full 5 star review is that the location of the hotel is a little......out of place. Los Cristianos is a nice little harbour but the Arona Gran is the sort of hotel that wouldn't be out of place in Nice or Barcelona. Fabulous rooftop terrace (accessible through the UP! package only) with two infinity pools from which you can watch the sun set. Amazing! The hotel is spotless, reasonably priced and has 5 different pools. Loved it.
