Location is okay for me, it sit close to large shopping arcade. At the front and lobby it seem alright. Checking in was quick but when I arrived at my room, it looked noticeably worse because the room still not yet cleaned. I called front promptly and she quickly responded to my complaint. It okay. My second room with different side of the floor was cleaned, look better feel better ^__^. Overlooking the wrong handle of the room, if looking okay, acceptable for the price I paid.

I was there for New Year's eve party at the poolside and was very dissapointed since the female DJ was not playing any music, she was just pretending to, infact the sound system guys were playing a youtube channel instead. It's a sad way to use a female to attract and bluff the customer but seems like everyone is doing it now, esp in SE Asia. Very embarassing. The buffet was also very limited to 5 thai salads and 3 Indian dishes...not worth it at all.

The hotel was not as fancy as the outside might suggest. The hotel also caters to Indian tourists, the breakfast buffet reflected this. Not a bad thing but something to be aware of. There is a night club nearby blasting music clearly audible until the early morning which really soured the experience. Not the hotel's fault but something to keep in mind. Sleep was fleeting.

Liked · The Grand Palazzo has a great presentation on the outside and on the website. Location is great as it's near the beach and central areas. However... be aware of the dislikes... Disliked · Nothing is as it seems on the brochures, the fitness center is outdated and located in the hall of the third floor. Only the ground level lobby is air-conditioned, so every hall on all levels is hot and uncomfortable 🥵. Housekeeping is the worst we have ever encountered... We had two rooms, both uncleaned as we entered and requested cleaning. Housekeeping was very moody, but the manager did her best to ensure our satisfaction. Not worth the recommendations they earned, should be revised.

Nice hotel close to all amenities such as shopping centres, restaurants and bars. Reception staff serves with a smile, efficient and helpful. Our room is spacious, clean and has a private balcony with part view of the city, sea and mountain view in a distance. Breakfast was included in our package. It has good varieties of dishes but fruits only limited to pineapple and watermelon which is a let down for me as local fruits are in abundance here. The staff in the breakfast could do with a happier face when serving too.
