A fairly good location. They had clean comfortable beds. Service was great. The place is being updated, which will hopefully improve the soundproofing. I agree with other reviewers: the street is very loud. We were on the 4th floor and it was fine, but any lower would have kept me awake. Did not try the gym or pool so no comment there. All told, perfectly serviceable for an overnight layover and short city tour.

The hotel needs to provide white noise machines in the rooms, similar to other Holiday Inns. There is too much street noise, i.e.. traffic, people shouting and yelling. Had a great dinner of lamb shank. Excellent service at the bar. Kudos to Anna, our bartender!

We stayed one night and the location was great. We were able to check in early and get settled in. However, the room was not as clean as I hoped. The shower didn’t look like it was cleaned from the previous guests, there was hair and debris in the shower and the toilet had hair on it also. The bed we slept in was old and sunk in the middle. The room also was not sound proof, we could hear full conversations through the vent in the bathroom. These details are important when running a hotel ……a bed that is comfortable, and a clean and quiet space. So despite the location and the early checkin. I don’t want to stay here again.
