So happy that we got to stay here! The location is a gem! The hotel itself is very nice, cozy and clean. It was fully renovated in 2019 which is a big +! Complimentary parking!!! Compare to other hotels -50$ Walk distance to the ocean, park and sea lions 🦭

What an exceptional hotel! First, the staff are absolutely amazing, from the front door to check in to the restaurants. Second, the hotel is beautiful, with great public spaces to sit and chat over wine, and with large, bright rooms, most of which have terrific views. My room was on the fifth floor with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. Third, the location is perfect, right in the heart of La Jolla. Just steps from the waterfront and some great shopping, coffee shops, and restaurants. I was at the hotel for a three day work meeting. The main meeting room on the ground floor is large, with lots of windows, high ceilings, and great WiFi. Again, the staff were the best and so friendly and attentive. The food was also very good. I will definitely be back! Such a great place.

Great hotel in a great location. And the room was lovely. BUT only one star because they used the first floor hallway in front of the door to our room (#220) as the storage room for our entire stay! Kitchen supplies, boxes of tableware, all the chairs from the small first floor conference room, etc. It was a mess. And definitely NOT wheelchair accessible as advertised. I informed the front desk twice but they said there was nothing they could do. Huh? Definitely NOT a luxury experience.
