Great place to stay! Within 5 minutes' walk of the beach and just about anything else you could possibly want - yet, super quiet! We were able to get a good night's sleep without any trouble from noise outside. Rooms are comfortable and RIDICULOUSLY spacious - you've basically got a whole apartment with kitchen, living room, and all. Plus, everything was spotlessly clean! Ample parking. Checking in and out was a breeze, and the manager was just the friendliest. She had great recommendations for places to go/things to do. We would 100% stay here again, and definitely for longer next time! This is a great place to relax and unwind. :)

The manager Debbie & the workers are very friendly. The place is super convenient, walking distance to La Jolla Shore. The room is super roomy, with kitchen, and the bed is comfortable. It is quiet at night. We found the place from website. Our first time experience of our getaway trip is excellent. We will go there again for our next anniversary or vacation.

Like many have said, the location makes Riviera Inn perfect. It is not fancy but maintained. We stayed on the second floor and if it is a hot spell, you might want to b on the bottom floor. There are not many luxury features. We were there to explore and enjoy the beaches. The Inn serves full time residents also and has quiet hours starting at 8pm. We enjoyed chatting with the local residents at the pool and got some good tips.

Love the room and how clean it was even without AC towards the end of the summer it was still comfortable. Some things to note: •Reserve your parking asap •There is street parking but you have a alot more chance to find parking if you get there early in the morning and just explore the area or chill at the beach while waiting for checking in. •there is a pool area which was a plus •there is also a barbecue grill •call ahead of time to see you can checkin early(no extra fee!) Cons Tv was out of date it would would have been a 5star if they have a smart TV

Great location: within walking distance to the sand beach and touristic area with restaurants. To me it is a better and more quiet area then by the La Jolla Cove. Parking is easy, free and safe on the street right next to the Inn. The place is well maintained and very clean. Having a full kitchen is great. When booking I was concerned that there’s no AC. Turns out it is not a problem at all. At least in late May.
