Not recommended. Will not come again. Not a 4 star hotel standard. The hotel comes with free parking and it is the only advantage. The room and facilities are poorly maintained. The room comes with a moldy smell with actual mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom. The room was not clean enough either. Stains everywhere. The windows in the room can be opened but cannot be sealed tightly so it is noisy all day and night as there is a construction site right outside the hotel. Also, it is cold at night as the room does not come with heating and the windy outside (even with the window closed). Breakfast is really not worthy. I didn't even go to the breakfast for the 2nd day. The location is close to the station but not much happening in the neighborhood.

First room that hotel gave was full of cigarettes smell. Not even enter the room went down to request for change. I bought their room package that was inclusive of breakfast (quality: em~ better than none. Taiwan has too much great breakfast. Even down the road Family Mart is much better), and inclusive return High Speed Rail ticket to/from Taichung to Nangang. Total: NTD3776. Big room and bath room. Cleanliness ok. 6 min walk to MRT/Train/High Speed Rail station (they’re all together at the same place). And many shopping includes Don Don Donki. Of course you will never get hungry in Taiwan.

Super convenient location, clean rooms and free parking (first come, first served). Unfortunately, I encountered an impatient staff member at the front desk who rolled her eyes at me when I asked her to repeat herself because she spoke too quickly for me to understand. Also, aside from plain congee and fruit, there isn’t much available for vegetarians at breakfast.
