Large room with an inexpensive price range; facility is clean & staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is only NT$200 each for hotel customers - very good price but needs tea bags for tea drinkers.

I've booked through Agoda and was staying in Check Inn Taipei Neihu for 6 days. I was in room 1001 on the 10th floor. Overall the hotel looks clean and neat. The bed was big and comfy. The toilet was big and spacious as well. The water heater worked just fine. The hotel staffs were all very friendly and helpful :) If you need more shampoo and body wash but do not require housekeeping, you could just get it from the hotel reception. On the 5th day, the air condition in my room wasn't working but they were kind enough to send a stand fan to my room! I'm so glad I picked this hotel as my accommodation in Taiwan. On the 7th day, me and my friend travelled from the hotel to jiufen but we had trouble calling the driver (not sure what was up with our phones). The hotel receptionist assisted us to call him with the hotel phone instead. *on a side note if you're looking to get an uber to jiufen, you could contact Mr Chen / 陈先生: +886 968 866 702. He's super humble and friendly, he came to the hotel right on time to pick us up and we really enjoyed our ride with him :)

10/25/23 Update: This property is down the street from Tri-General Hospital Emergency Room and ambulance pass through every other hour or so. Unless you have business to take care of at the hospitals, there's really not any good reason to stay here!====== ====== 10/24/23 Update: Downgrading the 3-star review to 1-star. Woke up this morning with 3 super itchy bug bites! ====== ====== 10/23/23: Got here 25 minutes before 3 after a long trip and the check in is strictly at 3. Room is huge compared to rooms in most Taipei hotels that are in the center of everything. Trade off is this hotel is not close to any attractions. Everything in the room is a bit aged. Could use a bit more ceiling lights. Floor is very sticky (use the free sandals). Restroom is big but amenities are limited. Bed is hard (as with most hotel beds in Taipei). Nothing nice to say about the hotel or the location.

I checked in on 6th June 2023, after my room was made up on 7th june, it was never made up till 13th june 2023. My children was so upset to return from training with bedsheets not made and changed, toilet not replenished with toiletries and no tissue being refilled. We are very disappointed being the hotel guests living in this hotel. The receptionist will give all sorts of excuse to defer day by day for not having housekeeping for my room. First, he said I didn’t set the button for housekeeping, next he said I should hang the tag at the door handle for housekeeping, next he said I should put the hotel card key at the card holder so the housekeeping sign won’t disappear, and the list goes on and on… however as I’m staying for the whole 10 days and paid from Agoda website, there wasn’t any refund and the hotel staff just play punk throughout not making up our room… We won’t return to this hotel again sadly and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in Taipei!

Hotel is nice and big. The bed is really soft and big. There is a bathtub and standing shower in my room. The view is also decent. I requested a lot of stuff during my stay (toilet paper, trash bags, soap, water bottles, etc..) and they always delivered in a timely manner. I used line to message the hotel and they always responded quickly. They also delivered 3 meals a day to my room and most of them tasted delicious.
