This is the third or fourth time that I've stayed in this hotel. The last time I stayed here it was probably 10 years ago. Definitely pre covid. It's a little rough around the edges. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice people! The rooms are medium sized for Asian rooms. Plenty of room to open my bag. But not overly large. There are no plugs next to the bed on either side so you're going to need an extension chord. For US travelers be aware that they use 110 to 120 volt electricity here with US style plugs. The bathroom was fine. Bidet toilet seats! I have a bathtub in my bathroom which I don't really like. It's a large high old style European tub that makes it hard to get In-N-Out of. There is a grab bar. I prefer rooms with shower only, which they have. I stayed here mid December 2023. Was paying US$75\night. Location is great. Right on Roosevelt road and just next to the Taipower building MRT station. Shida area.... Night markets... Restaurants etc. if I was going to stay again I would try to pay a little less.

Stayed for a very long time here, and had a great experience! Staff spoke excellent English, were extremely friendly and helpful, and always accommodated all my requests and needs! For the price the rooms were very good as well, and the hotel was conveniently located just next to exit 4 of the Taipower Building MRT station. Both NTU and NTNU campuses are around 10 min walking distance away, and the riverside biking routes are just around the corner. The Shida night market is a 5 minute walk away with numerous food stalls and restaurants, and across the street is a 24h Carrefour supermarket, in addition to numerous convenience stores & pharmacies nearby. Thank you to the staff again for my great stay in Taipei! 謝謝您在旅途中對我的款待!

Arrived early at 6:30 am (flight from US), asked front desk if we could drop off luggage early, as check in time was 3:00 pm. Came back at 4:00 pm and there was no one at the front desk, so we could not pick up luggage. Female housekeeper was very rude. ignored us, then told us to just call the customer support line on machine kiosk. Noone answers the support line and had to call a different guide hotel branch to reach any type of support. After an hour the male housekeeper just happen to arrive at the lobby and assisted us in getting our luggage. If we did not run into the male house keeper we probably wouldn't be able to get our luggage for the night. Rooms are clean but not very good quality especially for the price. The hotel is in a convienent location right next to metro station but I would book a different hotel around the same place if you can.

Disgusting behaviour from staff. Currently staying and told us unreasonable hotel rules. Hang your card out before 12 for room make up. Told they cannot do anything after. Won’t even try to ask and when i ask that i want to complaint. “You go complain to head office! “. I have paid paid for my services included , when i ask for cutlery. They say come pick up from reception. Body language from all the staff seems very annoyed and bad manners.
