Comfort 3/5: The pillows were very soft, didn’t offer any neck support. AC turned off past midnight and even it was on, it felt like it was just fan on but no coolness. We ended up opening the windows and requesting a fan. Room 5/5: Enough space for our carry on luggages. I loved the extra spaces on their drawers and cabinets. You won’t hear a thing from outside. Bathroom 4/5: It was clean but the shower glass needs better seal. The rug towel ends up soaking wet. Location 5/5: You are just 10 steps away from the train station. It might be loud outside and there were some sketchy people (harmless) but still felt safe. Staff 5/5: Whenever we needed something, it would be delivered in 5 minutes. They were always pleasant.

Property is located beside the main train station with bus connectivity and many stores nearby. The rooms are generally larger in size. There is heated flooring for the bathroom making it very comfortable. There is a kettle for making coffee tea in the room. Iron and ironing board is provided upon request, they sent it over immediately.

Location was very central, adjacent to Salzburg central station. Rooms were OK. Aircon was not able to heat the room despite adjusting the thermostat to maximum and being in Nov with cold weather. Cleanliness was good. Bathroom shower was good, although shower door could not close perfectly and leaked water onto the floor. Cleaning service was poor. Cleaning crew knocked on our room twice in the morning to check whether it was OK to clean and twice we told them we were atill in the room. Before leaving for the day at 11am, we informed front desk to clean the room. Despite all this, room was NOT cleaned when we came back at night. Informed front desk manager who did not seem very apologetic. Replacement towels were requested and delivered promptly though. Breakfast was above average although not fantastic.

Not worth the money I paid 351 Euros (equivalent to 300 GBP) for a 2 night stay (not even a weekend). The hotel is nice and if the price was a lot less less, the issues would be irrelevant. - Building works going on both nights at around midnight and banging and machinery could be heard. - Bathroom door does not stay open on its own. - Aircon did not work. You can read other reviews with the same issues from MONTHS ago. If I am paying 160 Euros for one night, I should be able to regulate the room temperature. - Shower door is not capable of keeping the water from going all over the floor. - No bodywash in the shower dispenser. - Found hair on the bedsheets. - Only 1 coffee for a 2 night stay. But you're telling me that for 351 Euros, this is perfectly acceptable? I stayed here in 2019 and I really enjoyed my stay so decided to treat myself to some luxury but this is not it. I will definitely not stay here again.
