A medium-sized hotel within walking distance of the center and the main train station. Suite room large enough and practical furnished. Unfortunately, room service is minimal. The room deserves better care and maintenance. Curtains, towels. Breakfast great with good choice and service.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 days during my visit in Salzburg. The rooms are clean and well kept. The place is slightly off center but quiet. My only criticism is the fact that the housekeeper (2nd floor) opened my door twice without knocking. And in the second time, seeing there were people inside, the housekeeping lady just left without saying a word, which left me baffled. Perhaps just knock first? Or perhaps apologize when you open people’s room by mistake? It was way ahead of checkout time so I do not think this is acceptable. The front-desk gentleman was very nice and apologized on the housekeeper’s behalf.

I cannot recommend dorint hotel enough! The staff and the facilities made it a wonderful stay. After an issue at a hostel after midnight I was in urgent need of a place to stay and the staff at the the Dorint was so accommodating. Anna on the night shift helped me get everything sorted quickly. The next morning when I needed assistance finding a doctor nearby Zerina was absolutely amazing and went the extra mile. She even checked in on me the next day; like I said, superb staff. The sauna facility was also a lovely treat and very luxurious. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough; I would return in a heartbeat.
