This hotel offers basic accommodations. It is, and it feels super clean. The bed is comfortable. However, the queen size is really a double bed. The rooms are small, but as a solo traveler, it has worked for me. Personally, this is a hotel for those who will be out exploring the city and back for a comfortable night's sleep. They also offer complimentary breakfast, which I have never tried, but it is good to have. All the staff is nice and friendly. The location is terrific. There are several restaurants in the area (walking distance), and I mean several! Colombian, Asian, Italian, and American food, and more, and right next to the hotel, there's a McDonald's. Two malls are within walking distance: Hacienda Santa Barbara is a 2-minute walk, and Santa Ana Mall is across the street, and it's a 10-12 min walk. I have stayed here on 4 different occasions and will continue to do so. Those from the staff that already recognize me are very friendly, politely ask about my travels and are very accomodating.

It was ok, my only concern was that they charged 19% additional tax (IVA) and I explained that I was not a colombian resident for tax purposes. Very difficult to deal with front desk Carmen and her friend in shift ( Oct.17. Tuesday evening); the male attitude was very arrogant and at some point I felt he was rude, he was staying that if I got Colombia using my biomig then I had to have an “X” on my passport to verify I was a foreign resident, kind of insane😏. I stayed two consecutive nights, probably I wont stay again at Hampton, I have stayed in Hampton Btà Airport and many other hotels and I have never had such a problem. Very disappointed.
