This was my first time staying here. The room was very nice, clean and well kept. The only things I didn't like were that the water in the bathroom seems to take an unusual amount of time to get hot. I was on the first floor. I think the trash cans provided in the room were very small. Service was outstanding! The staff was always friendly and helpful. They set out complimentary chocolate chip cookies and sodas which I raided when the occasion presented itself. Complimentary (FREE!) breakfast was good and I always had plenty to eat. They had good coffee and hot chocolate. Kind of noisy on the first floor because you can hear people talking on the street outside, and random other things but I just turn the fan on constant and all of it was drowned out. Excellent place I recommend and will probably come back to again.

When we arrived at the hotel, after a long journey from the UK, we were 'welcomed' by the least charismatic staff member I'd ever encountered. That was disappointing, to say the least. The rooms were small, and ours had a strange smell coming from the bathroom. The bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom too, and the shower was delightful 😊

Hotel staff are super friendly and very helpful. Always greeted with a smile and hello. Hotel; in great location not far from staten island ferry, 911 memorial, battery park. If you like walking, we walked to empire state, central Park. Plenty subway entrances thou and been in financial area was quieter than Times Square. Rooms a good size with hairdryer and all the gels and soaps. Air con unit in room. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it, room has a one cup coffee maker but plenty tea, coffee & hot chocolate in lobby that is complimentary. Didn't need to use Hotel wi-fi but handy knowing it was there. Rooms are kept lovely clean by maids. I would highly recommend this hotel. Some great pubs , shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Can highly recommend the white horse good Irish bar.

Bad place to stay. Rooms are extremely small 10x10, no sofa, or able to walk in the room and a blocked view. Only good for 1 person to stay.. Free Wi-fi was down. No parking garage on site, so you have to walk a few blocks to park. I was going to stay for 2 days using points and decided to stay only one night. I checked out before 11am, and they said the unused points would be returned. A few days later, I called Hilton, and they called the hotel. The Hotel didn't want to return the unused points even though I had checked out before 11am AND I had to open a case with Hilton. This is robbery!! DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL!!!! AND told me too bad, the points are NOT mine but belong to Hilton. I have been a Hilton HHonors member for 20+ years and NEVER have seen this type of treatment.
