The location of the Camelia Hotel is wonderful! I had a great view of the lovely park across the street from my room. The streets surrounding the hotel have restaurants, bars, and easy access to some of the key areas of interest in the city, including the War Remnants Museum and the Ben Thanh Market. The hotel has updated rooms that are quite comfortable at an excellent price. I must add that the manager of the hotel was lovely and quite responsive to our needs. We just had a quick stay, but I would definitely go back.

I had the Superior Double Room on the 5th floor, traveling solo. Several things I like about the hotel: - The staff were friendly and very welcoming - They have a cute cat (I think his name is Leo) - They accepted payment with credit card - The room was very clean - The room came with a fridge, a water cooker, coffee, tea, a towel, and general toiletries - Very private up on the 5th floor, there's no neighbor across your window - Great sunrise view! - There is a good Pho restaurant about two doors down and a mini market (Circle K) around the corner - Walking distance to Bui Vien
