Never staying here again, when i first walked in it seemed like a nice place apart from the smell of smoke. I saw the owner of the hotel smoke outside of the door but the door was kept open. We got to the door and asked if we could have a key and the owner said she doesnt know if she had one. There were other little things like a hole in the ceiling, no carpet under the bed and no soap in the bathroom. But the worst thing was there were dog hairs on the bedding and when we asked for a fresh one she gave us another. It was just the same. She told us that there was a dog on the premises but it wasn't allowed upstairs. im never going there again. Wouldn't Reccomend.

It’s a good place to visit if you’re staying for the night or two. Granted it is much better and nicer compared to other B&B’s that I have stayed at in Blackpool and I would visit again if I wanted to stay for an simple and cheap night. There were a few marks and scuffs around the room but not something I cared too much about to put us off. The only cons I did come across was that the beds were really low to the ground and I wasn’t keen on the flooring. Our room had wooden floorboards that seemed uneven and creaky. These are just small nit-pics and it didn’t put me off returning. Most people would say “you get what you pay for” but in this case the quality of the room was better than anticipated.

A welcome warm only in terms of person meeting us who was very pleasant and helpful. Room very cold no heating on until you pressed a button and it was set for 15 minutes or up to 2 x hours . Bathroom very small and no parking at all as Strictly weekend so we checked out an hour later and did not stay there. Drove home to Cheshire and popped a cork in our sequins and felt grateful for our heated home .

Absolutely outstanding will be booking here everytime we go to Blackpool we had originally booked in at another hotel although on arrival there I could and would not allow my children to stay there so after an hour of going in and out of hotels looking for somewhere to stay my daughter found hightide so we thought we would try there. The owner was very very polite and accommodating and had a room free luckily so we stayed here and gave the key back to original place. Hightide was immaculate and perfect size for me, My sister and my 3 girls. Everywhere was spotless. Beds very comfy fresh bedding fresh towels and shower perfect. Smat tv, Kettle with tea/coffee etc, microwave, fridge freezer sink. Area quiet considering it's blackpool location was quite when we went back to hotel later that night. The 2 owners where lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be staying again. Service could not be better. The couple who run it very welcoming and polite lively couple came to check on is after settling in to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Thankyou hightide.
