I had a frustrating experience with hotel check-in. After booking and paying for my room via the Gaode App, I was surprised when the hotel asked for an additional 3,000 CNY deposit upon arrival. This meant I had to pay twice - once for the room and again for the deposit. The hotel staff explained that there was a delay in the payment from Gaode App, hence the need for a security charge. It's really inconvenient and annoying for customers. If a hotel cannot trust a platform, they should consider not using it rather than causing such hassles for their guests.

Will update.. Stayed one night here. Nice room beds. However, it's not within walking distance to malls or attractions. At night, you can't go anywhere except the nearby PoPark place which is not entirely opened.

Very good hotel in Guangzhou and well located in Tianhe. Just a few meters away from Guangzhou West Train station and the mall. A lot of restaurants around this area and subway close by to go to Guangdong Museum and Canton Tower. Very friendly employees at check in! Room was nice and clean as expected. Will be back!
