It's a good location, next to the convention center and my client that I was here to see. The hotel is solid in terms of cleanliness and minimal wear and tear. The bed was super comfortable. You do get street noise, but it's not super loud. With it's convenient location, I'd come back.

Location: It’s in Downtown San Jose. The train is across the street. Convention center is here. Parking: The parking garage is for guests and employees only. Convention parking is next door. $39 per day. Check in: Be sure to digitally check in on the app the day before to select your room. Our digital key was ready at noon before 4pm check in. Elevators: It’s all digital. You type where you want to go from the outside. There are no buttons inside. The elevator automatically lights up to tell you which one you’re going on. Rooms: We got a king bed with a pull out couch. It has a fridge, safe, large closet, full length mirror. Everything you need in a hotel. Overall, clean, has a nice bar. I wish they offered free continental breakfast. There’s a concession store that sells everything at a high price.

The hotel is located in the quiet downtown core of San Jose. I can imagine during events it can be busy but most of the time it is rather quiet. Rooms are large and have been updated with newer items and fresh coat of paint but can tell it's an older building, nothing wrong with that except for the sounds. Even numbered rooms will face the landing path of flights to SJC, you can hear them throughout the day and into the late evening. The gym is well stocked with the basics and the pool/hot tub are nice but to not have a heated outdoor pool it makes it hard to utilize and enjoy. The biggest flaw in a hotel room, was the lack of a wake up call service. While the service did exist, I had called the night prior to set a wake up call before my early morning flight, however the call never came. If I were to rely on this call to wake up, I'd have missed my flight. Whether it was entered wrong into the system by front desk staff or never entered, who knows. Overall, the hotel is nice and comfortable but I think other hotels are worth a stay.

The staff here are incredibly rude and heartless. They had lost an extremely important package, refused to even try to find it even when the tracking and delivery driver it was delivered. (For future reference, if you wanna deny receiving an $8,000 package, why don't you try and check the actual loading dock instead of giving us a lack luster response of denial.) Literally the only staff member who actually seemed to care or even try to help us was Kyle, the hotel manager, we can't thank this man enough for ACTUALLY CARING and eventually finding this irreplaceable package. Just because the guests you have that weekend aren't multimillionaire business men, doesn't mean you have to not do the BARE MINIMUM. I'd even love to tip you, but not when you can't even put in the effort to find something that I'm literally paying a "handling" fee for. Also, side note, when I call the hotel asking for an itemized list of a previous stay, could you not cough and yawn loudly into the phone.
