Beautiful hotel with a great staff. It’s a historical Hotel that Westin had done a great job up keeping. The rooms can be a bit small but being this is in the best location, the room size is easy to overlook. Staff was very welcoming and they made sure to come welcome our dog as well which she loved. This is probably my new favorite hotel in San Jose. The area is very safe and they have a restaurant serving Italian down stairs in the lobby.

Overall negligent staff I Stayed during a convention weekend payed extra for hiked up prices due to competition with marriot. The room we were promised a 2 bed queen room wasnt available so 3 of us were forced to be crammed into a 1 bed room no accommodations were given but they wanted to charge us a extra $130 for accommodations that were supposed to be promised so we kindly declined. Additionally we had no room service for all 5 days we stayed, trash was overflowing so we litterally just left garbage bags outside the door. I had to ask the Housekeeping for towels and they only gave us 1 towel so we had to share bath towels. There were crackheads outside the hotel at night just loitering and shouting the valet and door security did nothing and just stood there. Hotel staff didn't even hold the door once for us. No free breakfast at all. Payed a total of around $1,000 and got nothing but a single bed. Subpar at best, never again. To the desk staff trying to rip off guests can kiss it.

Located in the heart of downtown San Jose. Lots to do and see within walking distance. Variety of nearby restaurants from casual to find dining. Everyone we interacted with on the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean and well stocked, the bed was comfortable and quiet. Hotel has a vintage feel yet with modern amenities. We have stayed here twice and both times were without issues. Highly recommend this hotel.
