Friendly staff. Good value. The hotel breakfast was delicious (just get there early). The website advertised open pool (didn't mention seasonal) and guest laundry. Two reasons we booked it, because we were here for a soccer tournament. The laundry sign had blue tape over it, and the pool was locked. The rooms needed a little TLC. Our automated blinds wouldn't work, so our room was dark the entire weekend. And the room smelled a little musty. I did love that the bathrooms had all Dove products. The hotel was relatively quiet, no loud events or parties.

Pros : Justin’s customer service. He was very accommodating and it was another young lady who was amazing too! They made me laugh and had great personalities. The lady who checked me in was very nice as well. I can’t remember her name. Cons: the room was below average. It’s a Patel operated property. The heat didn’t work in my room and I put it all the way to 90. Nothing was coming out. Thankfully the next room was better. The shower’s handle was broken and constantly broke off. The handle to the faucet’s sink was hard to maneuver. I wish there were bags in the trash cans. I had food that I wanted to throw away, but didn’t want to mess up the bottom of the can so I just left the food out. The room I was moved to was amazing and slept all day.

A bit tricky to find following my phone directions. Room was fine. Initial assigned room would not unlock, so I was given a different room. Temperature control worked well. Parking was free and ample. Breakfast was typical, but good. Housekeeping could have been better. There were no towels at the pool, so I told the front desk. I was allowed a one hour late check out upon request. There are numerous restaurants nearby. Driving into town was not difficult. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I came to town.

The place is nice; however, the only thing I didn't like was that I asked for a late check-out. We arrived late at night, and I was hoping to have an extra hour, but they wanted me to pay $25.00 per room because I reserved through Orbitz. I wish there were more information available somewhere to avoid surprises at the counter. Anyway, we know for next time to inquire before making a reservation. If this is Holiday Inn's policy, I might consider choosing another hotel, even though I am a Gold member.
