I arrived quite late to driving up from England and I stayed here for 2 nights and upon arrival I was greeted by friendly staff. The breakfast team were so helpful. I’d like to give a special mention to Donna, she was absolutely lovely. I mentioned I was going to the fairy pools and she was nothing but helpful. I will definitely stay again. Great location and easy to get too. So thank you too Donna on the breakfast team

The lady on reception named starting F(don't want to use anyones name publicly) is so rude and arrogant. We have just checked in and the start of the stay was unpleasant .All we requested was a room swap and she accepted us to lift a sofa if we wanted a swap and was really talking very rudely. Either she is racist or may be that's her way of dealing with customers, whatever it is.. this is the last thing I would expect at my holiday. Very upset and disappointed ☹️

The highlight of this hotel was its central location and proximity to tourist sights. Good accomodation and food area for those wanting a place to stay while visiting the city. A large supermarket and restaurant area in walking distance from the hotel.

On arrival we were told that the evening meal options were restricted to pizza as they were short staffed, choice of three. If I understood the menu correctly there would only have been a beefburger in addition to these with normal staffing.!! Pizza was unremarkable, cost ..... £15 .The Hot breakfast was indifferent but hot plate type serve yourself usually are ( this is at a cost of about £220 per night ) Second morning at hot breakfast a notice on scrambled eggs read " no eggs" not " no scrambled eggs" ... NO EGGs .. unbelievable.!! In its favour the staff were great and the rooms were clean. Can't help comparing it to Holiday Inn express in Leigh which was brilliant last time I was there. We had the second evening meal at the," Snow Goose", this was fabulous. Main meal £15.
