The hotel room was clean and beautifully decorated but very, very cold! The thermostat was set to "24 C" when I arrived and couldn't be adjusted any higher so I kept it at that maximum and had the AC off but it still felt like the room was 17-18 C! No bathrobe to keep warm either, had to take multiple hot showers just to keep warm. I understand wanting to save on energy costs but I've never had such an experience at a hotel before!

I would not consider this hotel more than 3 stars in hotel ratings. Everything is nice but modest. Location of course is excellent for trade fairs and congresses. A walking distance to Pasila trainstation, easy to arrive by the airport train. Lovely brakfast. The restaurant was not open because of xmas season and this information was not given to me although I specifically asked when making my reservation. I asked for a King size bed but got a Queen.

Very good location if you are visiting the expo center. Service is excellent and rooms are nice, BUT the hotel bar is only open until 2am, even if there would be dozens of thirsty customers ready to spend more. Please have it open longer during the expo weekends, the hotel bar is an excellent place to exchange thoughts and experiences after long expo days!

Hi, I faced a lot of discrimination in this hotel. I would suggest the Asian to not to book this hotel. It was horrific experience and it was nightmare for me till the day I stayed here. The receptionists are not so friendly towards the Asians. They are still living in the mindset that Asians are poor and you will get third world treatment upon arrival at this place. Before arrival breakfast will be told as free but upon arrival you will be made to pay separately for it. Lot of issues with the electronic cards used for room check in and check out. Felt like there are cameras used to keep a watch on you even inside the rooms. The cameras on the TV, and on the paint art which are placed in the room. The rooms will be used by someone if you are a tourist from other part of the world. The lady named intissar was horrible as a receptionist. She needs to understand that humans are humans even if they are from Germany or Finland or even Sri Lanka or even Philippines. I was made to wait in the lobby for hours for no reasons and was made to pay the amount for my stay before I even checked in. This is not the way to treat people who come from other part of the world. I would definitely not visit this hotel forever in my life. I really felt Finnish are good people but this hotel made me to go through bad side of Helsinki and Finland. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
