I stayed here for three nights during my time in Vietnam. The hotel is located in the old quarter and it is a family run hotel. The family is absolutely wonderful. Incredibly kind and warm hearted. I would gladly stay here again. The hotel itself is very simple, but the kindness of the family and the location made it perfect for me. The only thing I could see being difficult is, if you are physically handicapped, you will struggle because there is no elevator. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay.

I have stayed at several places in the Old Quarter and we loved Hlliday Lakeview has been the best. Its clean and quiet and right near the lake and walking distance to everything in the Old quarter. Shower is great and modern and lots of hot water. The couple who run the place are so great and generous and fun to be around and it really made being in Hanoi this time around a blast. We will be back for sure! Thanks guys!

It is a really small place inside Hanoi old quater. It is very convenient to Hoan Kiem Lake, Dong Xuan market, and to most of the popular destinations that you need to visit in Hanoi. The room is just like a room in a motel, but the price is a bit pricey cause it is situated in city center. It is better for whom wants to stay close to everywhere. Not really fancy for whom wants the few stars hotel. The quality and customer service are okay, not so impressive.

Holiday Lakeview hotel In my wife's birthday, I booked this hotel because of it near the Hoan Kiem Lake. On Agoda, they write it about 300m far from the Lake but in fact, it's a lot nearer, about 50m. The only thing a bit annoys our family is that we have to go the stairs. We have room on the 5th floor so my wife complained about it. The room is very clean and comfortable ( I chose Superior Triple Room) with two beds. The Lakeview is good. And we completely like it. Staffs are so helpful and enthusiastic, they said some people like the 5th and 6th floor because of the view, atmosphere. If you like the 1st, 2nd floor you can contact them when you book. By the way, Hang Hanh street looks nice and a lot of friendly foreigners.
