The reviews are definitely discouraging however this hotel really isn’t that bad. The concierge was pleasant, the design was modern, great location, and we enjoyed the roof top bar (they had hookah). The elevator is quite small, we couldn’t figure out the thermostat so we were cold, and our bed was two twin size beds that were not very comfortable. We were only here for one night so it wasn’t that bad to us.

Stunning hotel..Great value..clean. Great locations, within 10 mins of attractions, metro, main station. Perfect. The spa is a wonderful idea to book after a day walking in Rome. One hour free. Very happy.

Please AVOID and save yourself the disappointment! It is shameful to promote this hotel as a ‘4-star’ accommodation. The male receptionist was rude, patronising and unprofessional. My partner and I, was escorted across the road and given a room IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BUILDING which looked abandoned, run down, dirty and smelling of rubbish. Upon entering this building… it had a gory, scary-like atmosphere and didn’t feel safe. Inside is full of garbage bags and cobwebs. The walls were covered in dust and mold, and the rooms smelt like a sewer. I wasn’t able to get a refund, but I STILL decided not to stay there because it was so bad. I believe the owner has a tactic to put people in this building when the original hotel is overcrowded just to make as much money as possible. But let me tell you, he or she would sure as hell not stay here and they have the audacity to charge customers €100.00 + a night. Please see my photos attached to this review. I hope it was helpful for someone else.

Very poor communication! We booked a family trip to Rome to celebrate mom’s return to Italy after 45 years (who is fighting Alzheimer’s) for 5 nights at this hotel (21 guests!). We accidentally booked a night for the day we were flying out of our home town in USA. Couple of days after booking the rooms, we realized the honest mistake with the time change and all. Immediately, we contacted the hotel to inform them of that, and tried to work something out with them. For the next 4 weeks all of our many phone calls and emails were ignored. Upon arriving to the hotel, the manager/owners refused to even meet us and help us (8 rooms and 21 guests) And they continued to charge us for the night we were not there. Patrick and Fredrico had every opportunity to contact us and communicate with us for an entire month (or rent the rooms out). Yet, they chose to ignore our communications. Additionally, the pictures on the site, are MUCH better than the real life. For the price they charge: -The rooms are super small, and dirty. With old equipments that don’t work well. -The hair dryer in my room wasn’t working, and even though I asked for a new one, I never got a replacement! -The spa in their very small pool was out also. Not a 4 star hotel! Find a more hospitable hotel to stay at, there are many great ones we came to find.

Location really was great, you can walk anywhere you want and enjoy the great sightseeing in Rome. The room was okay as well, but the mini fridge was not really cold. The day after we arrived the Hotel had a power outage, which wouldn't be so dramatic but it seemed like they just couldn't fix it even though they told us it only it just takes a moment. In the afternoon we still didn't had any power and couldn't shower or charge our phone. Even the emergency lights went off and the whole hotel including the hallways was pitch black. On top of that, the price for the hotel was too much. We were choosing to pay extra for a spa Hotel, but paying for a spa Hotel means you want to enjoy the Spa. The pool was empty and it seemed like no one was trying to use it. The smell was terrible, so we didn't stayed long and wanted to try to Sauna and the other areas. But the sauna and the steam room wasn't working at all. And multiple parts were broken and nothing despite the crash ice machine was working. Very disappointed. On top of that everywhere in the hotel you find stuff laying around from the hotel personal. Huge wagons of dirty laundry in the hallway all day. Bags and empty boxes. Just not organized. Next time we book a different hotel.
