We're family of 3 adults and stayed there for 6 nights in 2 double rooms. The rooms are very spacious and come with king size bed in each room. The cleanliness and the discipline to sustain that was admirable! The hotel decor was tastefully done up. Love the dining corner where guests can always bring their own food in and dine there with free flow of coffee, teas and such. Smoking is prohibited in the hotel and rooms which is a plus for us. There are massage chairs which are free for guests to use too! The owner and staff were very professional and helpful always! Location is also superb. Less than 5 mins walk to Dotonburi. We were offered a surprised free ride to the nearest train station early this morning when we checked out! Highly recommended to come and stay in this cosy, clean and friendly hotel!

Our hotel room was very generous! Close to Dotonbori, 7/11 and Lawsons. Quick access to the train if you're planning on going to Universal Studios. The room fitout is functional, comes with a clothes airer and lots of hanging space. It makes it so much easier to do a normal wash in the laundry and take it back to hang dry. Also has a common area next to the lobby with free drinks. The staff also walked with us to the train station to make sure we got the lift down with our suitcases instead of lugging it down stairs. It was a decent walk but they were more than happy to take us. Highly recommend staying there.

Excellent location near malls, walking street,etc. Clean & new room. Great amenities. Free coffee and tea, microwave oven, laundry room with dryers. Only thing that is short falling is the small lift. Reasonable price for such a great hotel. Must stay if you want to be in the center of everything.

My family and I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. It’s easily one of the best I have ever stayed in, and I have spent time in some excellent hotels around the world. The hotel is very nicely decorated, the rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet, the amenities are great, but what really made the experience so memorable was the service. The staff are so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure every detail was perfect, and went above and beyond at every interaction. They didn’t just make my visit to the hotel great, they helped make my visit to Osaka great. Next time I’m in town, I will absolutely be staying here. I can’t recommend Hotel 88 Shinsaibashi enough.

Very close to the train station, it depends on your exit. Staff are always very always friendly and helpful. We arrived around 1pm, and we were told our room is ready to check in. that's really a big surprise for us, which never experienced in Japan after many times visited Japan. Room with 4 beds, toilet and bathroom are separated, good WiFi, large tv with internet connection, we watch youtube most of the time. Limited coffee packs in room. However, you have many varieties of coffee, tea, and soft drinks for free in the lobby area, The dispenser machine even has hot soup, my kids' favourite. Sometimes we buy some food you can dine in the lobby area and enjoy those drinks, microwave available too. Other than that, you can play pool table, free massage chairs, those are really good. Only 2 coin-operated washing machines and 2 dryers are available. However, we did not experience any problem using it. The location is very near to the train station. It is good to travel around and also short walk 5 to 8 mins to shinsaibashi and dotonbori. One day before check out, we asked if they could arrange transport to send us to OCAT bus station at 545am, and they promptly arrange and send us there for free, I think you will never get this kind of service in any other hotel. A highly recommended hotel for family stay and excellent location, we will 100% recommend and will return.
