Located in only 30 mins, by foot, from the city's old centre. Check-in is very easy, and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Would recommend a stay.

Wifi didn't work, parking is difficult, no toilet on first floor. Breakfast was great.

Self service hotel with parking in the back. For the price the room was reasonable and clean. The breakfast was basic but adequate. The reason for the low rating is that some of the rooms face the main road which meant its impossible to sleep with an open window due to the noise (several trucks pass by) and during the summer the room can get very uncomfortable and there is no AC or a basic fan to cool you down and it was impossible to get any sleep. In addition to that the wifi is very poor and would constantly go down especially in the evening when many guests would use it at the same time. When it does work the speed is very slow.

Surprisingly good. Worth it and practical. It is a “self-service” hotel, which means there is little service beyond the room and the modest breakfast. But this no-nonsense approach translates into a pragmatic and comfortable stay. It is much less impersonal than the B&B chain, for comparison. We checked in late at night, got to our room and hopped into comfortable beds for the night. In the morning, the modest coffee was not the best ever, but good enough for sure. It has a convenient yet hard to find parking space on the back (look for the signs at the reception area). Perfect for one nighters.

I'm not sure how to describe this facility. Hotel or backpackers ? I was utterly disappointed with what I found. The room furnishings left a lot to be desired, everything from checking in to breakfast was self-service. Not my idea of fun! The best thing about the hotel is that it's in a quiet area that is within walking distance ( 2 km) from the Bamberg Old Town. It is also close to 2 breweries.
