In a superb spot for the railway station and acted as a great base as we explored the city centre. It's very central yet the hotel is very quiet. I stayed in a family room that had plenty of space and a comfy bed. The staff on reception were very helpful, breakfast was very good, and the bar served a great Finnish beer, but it was not open late.

This is a good place, it is very centric, clean and organized. It offers breakfast and spacious rooms. What made it unique is that i was allowed to do early check-in, nowadays, that's nearly impossible. There is a Sauna on the fifth floor, you gotta reserve it and the extra amount of money for the service is very very little . The hotel also has a contract with a gym nearby. I am very happy with my stay and i am definitely returning to this place on my next visit to Helsinki.

Has the vibe of a youth hostel. Room was clean and warm( minus 5c outside) obviously old,,but clean. Buffet was as good as most, surprisingly the scrambled eggs were hot 👍a 5 minute walk to train station,that was main reason for staying.

It's one of those hotels that have stood the test of time and easy to understand why. Eventhough it's old, the rooms are clean and smell good. The heating was perfect and stable--as if the room itself adjusts to keep guests comfortable no matter what the weather is outside (we visited in winter and other hotels we've been didn't have as great heating). Breakfast was awesome! Wide variety of food choices, delicious, and freshly cooked. The staff were amazing--friendly and very accommodating. As if all of that is not enough, the location of this hotel is just perfect. It's a few minutes walk to the metro and tram, lots of good restaurants around, pharmacies and shopping. Overall great value for money!
