The staff is very nice, all of them. Yes, there is a club around the corner but if you go inside your room the fan sound will mute it enough to sleep. The rooms are nice and clean, no real complains as the location can hardly be beaten. The place is nicely decorated and really feels like a good value holiday place. Not to mention the nice cat they have so friendly, Enzo is the best!

On July 5th, 2023, I received some of the rudest and most condescending service I have ever experienced. The man at the front desk at night was apathetic and wouldn't do basic things like holding bags before check-in or telling him things like the toilet weren't working. He would claim not to speak English but would continue to shake his head even when people spoke fluent spanish to him. The music next door is also always going, and makes the whole point of staying at a hotel like this redundant. There's a million better options in Playa Del Carmen.

Ok - as some prior reviews noted, there is a nearby nightclub that plays dance music till midnight. You can hear the bass faintly in the room, but it didn't bother us because the sound of the fan or a/c was enough to drown it out. We slept like champs. The rooms are small but clean and a great value for the price. The guys manning the front desk are outstanding and know everything about the city and region. There is onsite parking, but there are only 3 spaces and cost about $5 USD per day (2 of them were available during our week-long stay during the high season (1/1 to 17//23)). The location is great - easy access to the promenade (pedestrian walk on streets that are closed to cars), the ferry to Cozumel and the other parts of the city frequented by locals. I recommend this hotel.

The staff is the best. The amenities are basic. No TV. No phone. No elevator. No restaurant. And in the night the noise of a club was horrible until 2am. I stayed 4 nights only slept 2 for 5h the other 2 just 2h. As a solo traveler felt safe is near the ferry, the beach and the 5th Avenue. A lot of restaurants and seven eleven and pharmacy. Near ADO bus station. Very good cuz is walkable and is full of policeman in the area in the day and night. But the club near the hotel must be banned for playing soon noisy music. And the worst is that it was empty sometimes so for me was just to bothered people. Not even with plugs and pills you could sleep
