The room is furnished with typical venetian furniture that might be also a little older just as the walls or other equipment. Everything worked fine but there were stains on the carpet or cut cables in the bathroom. We also could not find a “do not disturb sign.” The service was nice and the breakfast offered a good variety of tasty food to choose from which gave us some energy for the day. The best thing about this hotel is the location just 5 minutes walking from the train station on the main island. The price was reasonable and i would recommend this place for anyone traveling on budget.

Room furnishings look old, rundown and small. The 4 person room is made of 2 single size beds, 1 sofa bed. The mattresses are made of springcoil and sofabed is uneven and did not have sufficient back support. We cant open 3 big, 1 medium luggages fully. Not recommend for family with young kids. Pros: location is excellent, walking distance to big railway station, watertaxi point, well heated room (even at - 1deg outside but downside is extremely dry atmosphere), waterflow is strong, and housekeeping quality is acceptable. Breakfast spread is acceptable given the condition of room. Cons: no bottled water or kettle or slippers provided, toiletries include small sachets of shampoo, bodywash, handsoap and plastic cups (we didnt use them). Our room is beside lift, so its v noisy at night with machinery movement.

The location is super convenient to St Lucia train station in Venice and bus ride to/from airport, w exception of a modern bridge as some say w small and quite a few steps if you have big bags to carry. I liked the entrance when I was in venice in September and stayed 2 nights in Jan. The rooms could benefit major upgrades including heat system, better mattresses, blanket and bed cover that feels clean and is washable. I asked for several extra sheets on the mattress and to make sure the blanket or bed cover does not touch me. Georgina at checkin was very nice and helpful. You can hear people next door talking normally. Breakfast to go did not have anything for me to take, no yoghurt, no egg, while they put a juice and a bottle of water which I didn't take as I already bought one bottle of water and dont care for juice or crackers or cookies.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. For us it was great. Very clean room (it was cleaned every day), good breakfast. The furniture was a bit worn out but we didn't mind because we used it only for sleeping and washing. The breakfast, although it was fresh, it lacked diversity (in November there were no vegetables - tomatoes, cucumbers or peppers, but they had fruit salad). All the staff was welcoming and nice. There were no bedbugs in the room (an older comment mentioned this and we were worried until we saw the conditions).

We stayed at this hotel in early December, the room was 18 degrees and humid. Both of us got sick with due to cold and cough for those two nights in the cold dampness. The housekeeper came into the room at 9:30 in the morning without knocking and still didn't speak English. Tourist tax to the city for two nights 14euro in cash. Breakfasts were fine. The double bed means two beds together, creating a huge hole in the middle.
