This is the first time I stayed on the airport side of the river. The hotel is well located on a quiet street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The hotel has a distinctly 1950s feel. I stayed in a double room hoping to have a bit of extra space but there was a double and single bed and no comfortable chair or desk for working. Room amenities were few and the room safe was broken. Nevertheless I give it a high rating primarily because of the knowledgeable staff.

Great location within walking distance to the Leaning Tower and other attractions. Lovely décor and a good breakfast. The receptionist was very helpful. However, the rooms are small

Great hotel located a short walk from the central train station. Rooms are traditional , a little dated but clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional , a huge selection of hot and cold items. Minibar prices were very reasonable , even though we didn’t use Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

We were traveling with a group and a big bus. No way to get near the hotel on the first day. No help from the hotel. 45 minute walk from the big bus parking to the hotel. Staff not really helpful. The hotel shuttle only existed on paper. Breakfast was very good, however breakfast lounge was always crowded. The room was very small and not up to a **** standard. I will not go there again.

The staff are this hotel's strongest asset, helpful and friendly. The barman did us really good pizza slices which were a life saver after a disastrous dinner at a nearby restaurant (the hotel's recommendation unfortunately). Good size room (some modernization needed, for example a bathtub with defunct jacuzzi features). Fairly ineffective, noisy air conditioning and a fridge that didn't work (reported to reception who were very receptive to the feedback). Location good across the river from the tower and a much busier part of town, but within easy walking distance.
