Carolinenhof has been recently partly renovated and it has a very fresh new look, considering it's profile. The rooms are rather large and comfy, the new bathrooms are super. The breakfast is rather good, standard 3-star stuff, and the breakfast room is great, especially the closed terrace. The service remains very friendly and I'd say quick, so if the location suits you, this is a pretty decent and VFM choice for a couple of nights in the city. I'd love it if they changed their mattresses for something a bit softer (and I love stiff ones, imagine) and a mini fridge in the room would be a big help on warm summer days.

Nice location it's just 5 min from metro U and its quite place for hotel and to enjoy night , Nice and friendly staff I recommend 👌🏼 it to everyone who visit Berlin.

Rooms are big and it was clean. stuff was very polite, especially who named Alex. He has really helped us during our vacation. We really felt like home. Location is good, it is nearly 5 minutes to subway and bus stop by walking. Also breakfast was pretty tasty. Definitely recommend it :)

If you have a chance to reserve this hotel, you should get an opportunity. I had booked this hotel 3 months earlier and I could stay in the single room inexpensively. This hotel is easily accessible from Berlin city centre on the subway and around this place is quite tranquil. The Lift is there so you can go up to your room with your luggages comfortably. Power of water in the bathroom is good, TV screen is enough wide and big, and bed, desk, chairs are comfortable to sit for break. Wi-fi connection is fine however, sometimes, it is disconnected. In the bathroom, there are only hand-wash and body-wash so you need to bring your own toiletries. Towels were offered. If you want to drink still water, you can buy it at supermarket. Free sparkling water bottle is only there. Morning buffet is also nice. Even though I am not a hearty-eater for breakfast, but German breads, butter, spread jams, fruits, meat-balls, hardboiled eggs, scrambled eggs, black coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals and yogurts are enough there, but there is no toaster, because there are not loaf breads/white or brown breads for toast.
